ARLINGTON, TX (WHBL) - The Milwaukee Brewers blew a two-run lead Wednesday night, as Texas scored three times in the seventh inning to beat the Crew 5-4 in Arlington. Ian Kinsler capped off the rally with a two-run single which put the Rangers in front for good. Elvis Andrus also had two R-B-I’s on the night, as Texas won its 14th game in its last 16. Juan Francisco drove in all four Milwaukee runs with a pair of homers, including a three-run blast in the fourth inning which gave the Brewers the 4-2 lead they blew later on. Reliever John Axford took the loss after giving up the lead in the seventh. He dropped to 5-6. Jason Frasor threw a scoreless seventh to get the win. He’s 4-2. Joe Nathan pitched a perfect ninth for his 36th save. Milwaukee lost despite out-hitting Texas 9-7. The Brewers remain tied for last in the National League Central. Milwaukee has still not won a road series this year, after splitting its two-game set with Texas. The Crew did have a winning road trip, though, finishing at 5-4. The Brewers are back home to open a four-game set with Cincinnati tonight. Right-hander Kyle Lohse will face Reds’ left-hander Tony Cingrani. Pregame on WHBL begins at 6:35.
