GREEN BAY, WI (WHBL) - Green Bay Packers’ left tackle Bryan Bulaga will have surgery to fix a torn A-C-L ligament. Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed after Wednesday's practice that Bulaga will be out for the year. Bulaga sought a second opinion from famed sports surgeon James Andrews to see if there was a chance he could return this season. He decided against that. The 24-year-old Bulaga is a fourth-year pro. He missed the Packers’ final nine games last season – including playoffs – with an injured hip. Also, McCarthy said rookie running back Eddie Lacy missed practice with an injured hamstring that’s been bothering him for a while. The coach could not say how long Lacy might be out. McCarthy also said defensive end-and-outside linebacker Mike Neal passed a physical, and returned to practice on a limited basis. Receiver Randall Cobb was limited with a bruised bicep. The coach called that a precautionary measure.
