MADISON, WI (WHBL) - The unemployment rates in the Sheboygan area declined in March. The monthly report from the Department of Workforce Development indicates the rate for the city of Sheboygan dropped 4-tenths to 8.6 percent. The county rate went down 6-tenths to 7 percent. The rate for the state as a whole is at 7.1 percent - the same as in February. The report puts the Sheboygan area workforce at 57,900 - 200 more than in February.
