The Milwaukee Bucks, coming off a winless road trip, dropped a fifth straight game in the home finale Monday night to the Denver Nuggets 112-111. In a tight game throughout, it came down to the final posessions. Monta Ellis capped a strong, 38 point night with a four point play with 14 seconds to go giving Milwaukee a one point lead. Ty Lawson answered for Denver, hitting a step back jumper from the right side of the lane with :09 remaining. J.J. Redick missed a straight away three at the horn as the Bucks dropped to 37-44 on the season and finishing a disappointing 21-20 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Already locked into the final playoff spot in the East, the Bucks conclude the regular season Wednesday night at Oklahoma City, the top seed in the West, before returning to the playoffs for the first time in three years against the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat.
