KENOSHA, Wis. (WHBL) - A section of Wisconsin Highway 75 is shut down in Kenosha County as local officials watch a levee which could fail. Heavy rains have bloated Vern Wolf Lake in the Richard Bond Recreation Area. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department says the property downstream from the lake’s spillway is farmland which would likely flood if that levee fails. No structures are threatened, but floodwaters might wash out parts of highway 75.
