MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - The newest Brewer starter looked good in his first outing, but two runs scoring on a wild pitch in the seventh sent Milwaukee down to a 3-1 defeat. Lohse went six innings, allowing five hits, no walks and one earned run. Reliever Burke Badenhop took the loss even though the wild pitch was thrown by lefty Mike Gonzalez. The Brewers have lost three of their first four games. They may have also lost two more starting players. Ryan Braun sat out the game with neck spasms and Aramis Ramirez sprained his left knee. Wade Miley was masterful for Arizona. He struck out five straight batters at one point. The only Milwaukee run came on shortstop Jean Segura’s first career home run in the fourth inning.
