MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WHBL) - Federal prosecutors have filed drug distribution charges against 11 people from Manitowoc, Sheboygan and surrounding counties. Lieutenant Dave Remiker, of the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit, says the arrests came after law enforcement executed search warrants in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Calumet, and Milwaukee Counties. They seized over 70 pounds of marijuana, eleven firearms, and over 200-thousand dollars in cash. The U.S. Attorney handed down a 27 count indictment on Tuesday, charging all defendants with multiple drug distribution and firearms charges. Remiker says the nearly year-and-a-half long investigation is ongoing and could lead to more arrests. Among those facing charges are 31 year old Jason Gunderson, 20 year old Adoni Toniolo and 30 year old Jason Wiehr - all of Plymouth - and 21 year old Leah Truettner, of Sheboygan.
