SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WHBL) - Two Sheboygan boys have been charged with first degree murder in the death of 78 year old Barbara Olson of Sheboygan Falls.  Antonio Barbeau and Nathan Paape, both 13,  appeared in Sheboygan County Court Friday morning.  DA Joe DeCecco requested a million dollars cash bail because of the violent and callous nature of the crime.  DeCecco said Olson was the great grandmother of Barbeau and the boys had been dropped off at her home last Monday.  He said they had planned to rob and kill her.  DeCecco said the boys struck Olson with the blunt edge of an ax, causing her to fall to the ground.  She begged them to stop, but they then hit her again with the sharp edge of the ax.  Olson’s body was discovered lying in a pool of blood in the garage of her home on Wednesday and the boys were arrested several hours later in the city of Sheboygan. Both boys remain in the county jail, awaiting preliminary hearings which have been set for October 2nd.
