SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman on trial for the death of her infant daughter 55 years ago has been ruled competent to stand trial. 76 year old Ruby Klokow appeared in Sheboygan County Court Tuesday after Judge Angela Sutkiewicz ordered a mental competency evaluation early last month. Klokow was charged last year after her son told police he felt the child had died from child abuse. Klokow was later charged with 2nd degree murder. Klokow admitted to investigators that she threw the child onto the couch, but the infant hit the wall. No trial date has been set, and Klokow is free on bail.
