PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WHBL) - Residents in the city of Plymouth will see a $24 increase on their property tax statements next year to help cover the increasing cost of garbage collection. The common council unanimously approved the increase at Tuesday night’s meeting with no opposition from the community or council members. Department of Public Works Director Bill Immich said it’s important to note that the $24 charge does not cover the total cost of garbage collection in the city, but only the increase in cost from the service provider. The fee will appear on the 2013 property tax bills.
