EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (WHBL) - The Green Bay Packers ended a five-game winning streak and fell to second place in the N-F-C North Division, after getting pounded by the Giants Sunday night 38-10. The Giants took the lead for good late in the first quarter, and it was 31-10 at the half. Eli Manning had three touchdown passes, including the 200th of his career.  Aaron Rodgers threw for 219 yards, including a 61-yard strike to Jordy Nelson for the Pack’s only touchdown.  But Rodgers was also responsible for Green Bay’s two turnovers, when he threw an interception and lost a fumble.  And he was sacked five times, as the Giants’ front four manhandled the Packer offensive line the way they did in New York’s 37-20 playoff upset at Lambeau last season.  Andre Brown and Ahmad Bradshaw combined for 122 rushing yards for New York, but Brown left later with a broken leg. The Packers had three injuries during the game. Safety M-D Jennings left with an injured rib, defensive end C-J Wilson had a knee problem, and running back Johnny White left with a concussion. The 38 points were the most given up by Green Bay all season – and it was the Pack’s most lop-sided loss since 2007, when the Bears crushed them 35-7 in Chicago.  McCarthy said his players need to, “look inside and find out what you’re about.”  Both the Packers and Giants are now 7-4. Rodgers said the Packers need to make the most of their remaining games – including four against their N-F-C North opponents, starting next Sunday at home against Minnesota. The Giants outgained the Pack in total yards, 390 to 317, and New York held the ball two-and-a-half minutes longer. James Starks ran for 35 yards, and Alex Green 30.  Randall Cobb had four catches for 39 yards plus a 12-yard scamper.
