SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Falls man was seriously injured over the weekend in a rollover accident at Plymouth. The Sheriff’s Department said 42 year old Joseph Gatto was headed west on Highway 23 and crossing Highway 57 at Plymouth around 5:30 on Saturday morning when his car hit a patch of glare ice, causing it to leave the road and overturn in the ditch. Gatto was taken to St. Nicholas hospital with severe injuries.
A Plymouth woman was seriously injured early Saturday night when she rear-ended a farm tractor on County C north of the city of Plymouth. The Sheriff’s Department said 70 year old Janet Veleke was headed west on C, but failed to see the tractor driven by 30 year old Joshua Koepsell of Sheboygan in front of her. She slammed into the rear of the tractor. Her car then careened off of the road and came to a stop. She was trapped inside and had to be freed by First Responders. She was taken to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital while Koepsell was cited for no tail lights.
A Sheboygan teen was hospitalized on Saturday night after rolling his car on County Y several miles north of Sheboygan. Authorities said 16 year old Ryan Becker’s car left the road around 5:30 on Saturday night and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels. Becker was taken to Sheboygan Memorial for treatment.
