SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Firefighters spent much of Thursday afternoon battling a blaze that broke out around 11:45am at the Sheboygan Marsh. Scanner reports indicate no homes or businesses were ever in danger, but between 10-12 acres of grassland was scorched. The fire was reportedly brought under control shortly before 3:30.
