SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Howards Grove area man is facing charges from a fatal car-bicycle accident which happened in June. 68 year old Roger Petersen was charged with homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and negligent driving causing injury Monday in Sheboygan County Court after the Sheriff’s Department completed their investigation into the June 6th accident that claimed the life of 48 year old Troy Tousey of Sheboygan. According to the criminal complaint, Petersen told officers he was heading home from shopping, and admitted he may have fallen asleep when he struck Tousey and two other men Tousey was biking with. Petersen was in court Monday afternoon and was released on a $10,000 signature bond. He’s facing 10 years in prison if convicted.
