CEDAR GROVE, Wis. (WHBL) - Motorists are being urged to keep an eye out for deer. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department reports there have been 36 car-deer accidents already this month, including 12 on a single day last Wednesday. Authorities said there were several Wednesday afternoon, including one on I-43 in the Cedar Grove area, which resulted in an Illinois woman being hospitalized. The 67 year old driver was northbound when a deer bolted onto the roadway and slammed into her driver’s door. She pulled over and called 911 and then was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
