SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Additional charges have been filed against the Chicago man accused of firing shots at two Milwaukee men in Sheboygan Falls earlier this week. 27 year old Charles Chew was charged Thursday with battery and felony strangulation charges after an altercation over his ex-girlfriend’s car last Tuesday. According to the criminal complaint, Chew was upset that she was gone all day with her car, as he wanted to use it, and when the girlfriend returned and wouldn’t let Chew take her car, he began punching her continuously, and finally choked her before receiving a phone call, forcing him to let go of her. Chew was arrested earlier this week after firing several shots at two 19 year old Milwaukee men and the girlfriend at the apartment the two had shared in Sheboygan Falls.
