Mitt Romney makes "closing argument" to Republican supporters in West Allis

by

WEST ALLIS, WI (Metro Source) - Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is making what his campaign calls his "closing argument" ahead of Tuesday's election.

Campaigning at State Fair Park in West Allis Friday morning, Romney said, "Real change is not measured in words; real change is measured in achievements." He vowed to create "real change."

Romney accused President Obama of failing to live up to promises to fix the economy. He criticized the latest monthly jobs report, saying national unemployment is still too high.

The economy added 171,000 jobs in October, but the unemployment rate rose to 7.9%. Romney argued that the U.S. needs to set a new course.

The former Massachusetts governor is on a whirlwind tour of swing states before the election.

Romney called the U.S. a nation of "generous hearts" and urged people to direct charitable contributions to victims of Hurricane Sandy.
