SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman has been charged with felony burglary, escape, and obstruction for stealing jewelry from her mother to purchase heroin, and then fleeing from the police. 26 year old Heather McClellan, of Sheboygan, is facing up to 19 years in prison after being formally charged in Sheboygan County Court on Thursday. The criminal complaint says McClellan’s mother went to police when she noticed cash and jewelry missing from her home, and suspected McClellan had taken it. McClellan admitted to the burglaries, and also admitted she was addicted to heroin. She offered to set up a sting to help officers catch the heroin dealers, and as the sting was going on, McClellan fled. When officers finally located her, she admitted she’d taken the heroin she purchased with the sting money and snorted it.
