WAUKESHA, WI (WTAQ) - Waukesha West High School was locked down for about 25 minutes Tuesday morning, after police were told there was a man crouched with a gun nearby.

As it turns out, the man was looking for a coyote in his neighborhood.

Waukesha city police and county sheriff’s deputies were called to where the man was located.

After he explained the situation, authorities said it was no problem – and the high school lockdown ended a little before 9 a.m.
