SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ) - Former Sheboygan Mayor Bob Ryan is due in court Monday for his initial appearance in his sexual assault case.

Ryan is not expected to attend, but his attorney will be there. He's accused of inappropriately touching a woman at an Elkhart Lake bar last July.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman says Ryan came up behind her, and grabbed her breasts twice.

Ryan has admitted to being at the bar, but denied touching the woman. The incident helped trigger a recall election that led to Ryan being ousted from office in February.
