SAN FRANCISCO, CA (WHBL) - The Milwaukee Brewers blew a 4-1 lead, but rode to a 6-4 victory on a two-run single by Aramis Ramirez in the seventh inning. That hit made a winner out of Kameron Loe and moved the Brewers to within two games of the .500 mark. Jonathan Lucroy also had a two-run single. The other Milwaukee runs scored on a squeeze by first baseman Travis Ishikawa and a wild pitch. Starter Zack Greinke had been pitching relatively well until the sixth inning, when he gave up three runs. Tim Lincecum gave up three runs in the first inning, but avoided the loss, which was saddled on reliever Clay Hensley.
Game two of the series is this afternoon. Coverage on WHBL starts at 2:30.
