Now that it's 2012, The Avengers doesn't seem like such a far-off dream anymore. We will in fact live to see the greatest superhero team in the Marvel Universe assembling this spring. And although the Avengers as a whole are a celebrated group, there is one member who seems a bit unappreciated: Nick Fury, played by the great Samuel L. Jackson. But as we can see, The Avengers does indeed intend to highlight the wonder of Fury and his epic portrayer. Check out the images below of Jackson and some of his Avengers costars, Robert Downey, Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and get geared up for The Avengers, coming out on May 4.
