SHEBOYGAN, Wis.(WHBL) - Three people have expressed an interest in filling a vacant seat on the Sheboygan City Council. The 6th district seat opened when the incumbent, Fred Boeldt, moved out of the district. Applicants include former alderman Bill Wangemann, John Gahagan and Brian Nygaard. The successor will be elected by the council when it meets on April 17th and then will be sworn in during the May 5th meeting. Anyone else who is interested can still submit letters of application to the city clerk.
