SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man was seriously injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash at County "A" and Weeden Creek Road in the town of Wilson. The Sheriff’s Department said it happened around 6:30 when a van driven by 43 year old Karen Schmitz, of Fredonia, blew the stop sign and slammed broadside into a car driven by 63 year old Jerry Henderson, flipping the car onto its top. Henderson was trapped in the car until a Sheboygan Deputy and off-duty Kohler officer were able to get him out. He was taken by ambulance to St. Nicholas Hospital. Schmitz suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
