SHEBOYGAN, Wis.(WHBL) - Unemployment in the Sheboygan area increased slightly during the month of February. The latest figures from the Department of Workforce Development put the county unemployment rate at 7.6 percent - up four-tenths, and the city rate at 9.3 percent - up three-tenths. Both rates are still a couple of points below what they were a year ago. The figures show 57,700 people working in the Sheboygan metro area in February. That's about 200 fewer than in January.
