Actions always speak louder than words and on March 22, Kim Kardashian got a flour-filled message she won't be forgetting anytime soon. While giving interviews at a launch party held at the London Hotel in West Hollywood for her new fragrance True Reflection, a younger woman strolled up to the reality star and threw an entire bag of flour on her head.
In other words: Kim Kardashian was flour bombed.
But Kardashian took the powdery attack surprisingly well. After it was established that the substance was, in fact, flour and not anything harmful, the 31-year-old returned to her interviews, laughing the whole ordeal off. ""That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me,"" she told E! News. ""Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there.""
The rest of her family, however, didn't take the incident so lightly. Kris Jenner commented on the ""festive"" event, saying, ""If anybody comes at me with something, call security."" Khloè Kardashian Odom, who was not at the event, later tweeted, ""I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn't have dared tried a thing...""
Kourtney Kardashian also chimed in on the social site, tweeting: ""Classy to flour bomb my sister at her charity event helping women. I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!""
As for the flour culprit, she tried to briskly walk away from the scene, but was stopped and escorted away by hotel security. And since Kardashian didn't want to press charges, only a non-criminal battery report was filed. She has since been released and will live to powder Hollywood another day. And while it's still unclear why exactly the woman did what she did, several media members claim they heard her saying something about fur. Uh-oh.
But regardless of the reason, you have to give the reality star some credit for handling the situation so well. Check out the video of the incident below and see how it all went down:
