Jermaine Jones was asked to leave the programme on Tuesday (13Mar12) after TV bosses discovered he had failed to tell them he was arrested twice last year (11).

His exit was filmed and will feature during Wednesday night's (14Mar12) show, according to TMZ.com.

Jones, dubbed the Gentle Giant on the show, first hit headlines last week (ends09Mar12) when his father came forward to dispute a story suggesting he was estranged from the wannabe singer after abandoning him a decade ago.

Jones took to Twitter.com earlier this week (beg13Mar12) to assure fans he never told producers his dad had abandoned him.
