The Straits star was enjoying an evening out at the city's The Heritage hotspot when he was detained by cops for allegedly damaging a cash register.

Fa'aoso was subsequently charged with wilful damage and drunk or disorderly behaviour, and he appeared in court in Cairns on Tuesday (14Mar12) to plead guilty, according to The Cairns Post.

The actor's lawyer, Richard O'Shane, asked for sentencing to be deferred to a later date and the judge set the hearing for 23 April (12).
