So ... first things first: Stop reading right now if you didn't yet see Sunday night's episode of The Walking Dead -- and, uh, disregard that title!
If you're still here, it's safe to assume that you saw the aforementioned episode, and Jon Bernthal's (aka Shane) shocking fictional death.
Turns out Bernthal won't be gone from TV for long, though: As was heavily rumored (but not made official until today, for obvious reasons), he has already joined the cast of former Walking Dead showrunner Frank Darabont's upcoming 1940s cop series for TNT, L.A. Noir.
Bernthal will play the lead character, Joe Teague, an LAPD cop heavily involved in the city's war between law enforcement and criminals.
