SHEBOYGAN, Wis.(WHBL) - The Sheboygan Area School Board met in closed session as a Committee Of The Whole for nearly an hour last night and, when they reconvened, voted to allow Lake Country Academy to purchase the Lake Country Academy Building on Sheboygan’s north side for 2.4 Million dollars. Superintendent Joe Sheehan says the reason why the Charter School approached the District about the sale was so they could expand. Lake Country Academy must agree that even though they own the building and property, it will always be part of the Sheboygan Area School District, and will always be governed by the school board.
