PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WHBL) - A Plymouth man is facing numerous charges following a string of burglaries in Plymouth recently. 30 year old Erik Martin was charged in Sheboygan County Court Monday with 5 counts of felony burglary following his arrest on Friday. According to the criminal complaint, Martin had broken into a garage while the homeowner was sleeping. The homeowner woke up, contacted police, then held him until police arrived. Martin told officers he was short on rent money and admitted to entering multiple homes and vehicles looking for money to pay his rent. If convicted, Martin is facing 12 ½ years in prison on each charge.
