Lawyers claimed officials at the motorcycle firm infringed the actor's publicity rights by selling a line of boots called The Brando.

Brando Enterprises bosses sued Harley-Davidson in May (11), claiming the footwear looked similar to the pair the movie icon's character wore in The Wild One.

The two parties reached a settlement on Monday (05Mar12), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Last month (Feb12), the trustees accepted more than $300,000 (£187,500) from a furniture company to end a legal fight over sofas sold under the late star's name.
