GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - One of the Monfils Six, Rey Moore, will not get a new trial after the Supreme Court decided to not hear his appeal. Moore along with five other mill workers were convicted in 1995 for killing fellow worker Tom Monfils back in ‘92. Supposedly it was over Monfils snitching on one of the men over stealing an extension cord. Monfils was later found in a pulp vat with a weight tied around him. Moore claimed that a witness had changed his testimony, and new evidence should be heard. Back in March, an appeals court didn’t think it would be enough to change the jury’s minds.
