BELOIT, WI (WTAQ) - A creator of food ingredients in Beloit says it will expand and add 50 jobs.

Kerry Ingredients and Flavours said Tuesday it would spend $10 million to add 30,000 square feet to a plant that has 260,000 square feet.

The new facilities will include a cell-science lab to improve service to its bio-Pharma and technology customers.

The expansion is scheduled to be finished sometime in August.

Kerry Ingredients develops flavors and ingredients for various foods and beverages.
