TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Fire Monday morning extensively damaged a single-story home just north of the Sheboygan city limits on Patricia Circle off of Lakeshore Road.  Lt. Mark Rupnik says the fire was discovered about 7:45 by a passerby, who was able to call 911, then get the homeowner David Petrouski and his dog safely out of the home.  Flames were coming through the roof of the home when firefighters from the town of Sheboygan arrived on the scene.  The home received significant damage.  The Sheboygan County Fire Investigation team is on the scene.  Neighbors said the homeowner believed a woodburning unit may have been the cause.
