Jeff Beck has postponed a pair of concerts he'd scheduled next month at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, New York. According to a message on the guitar legend's official website, Beck shelved the concerts, which were to have taken place on March 16 and 17, because of "delays in his recording schedule."
The former Yardbirds member had intended for the performances to celebrate the launch of his next album. The shows also would have marked the stateside debut of his backing band's new lineup -- a trio featuring previous bass player Rhonda Smith and new drummer Veronica Bellino .
Beck also has nixed March 22 gig at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre, Ticketmaster.ca reports. People who purchased tickets for the New York concerts have the option to return them for a full refund or hold onto them until the gigs are rescheduled.
