SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has been charged with theft for allegedly stealing a bank bag from a Sheboygan bar Wednesday night. 26 year old Ryan Shaw was charged Thursday morning in Sheboygan County Court after a bartender at Skipper Inn contacted authorities about the theft. According to the criminal complaint, the bartender had a bank bag full of money and ID cards behind the bar that he was to use to pay various vendors and his staff. He noticed Shaw, along with 4 other men, move toward the bank bag, then later noticed the bag missing. The bartender also noticed that Shaw was missing. When Shaw was questioned by police, he admitted being at Skipper Inn and said he needed to go to jail. If convicted, he’s facing 3 ½ years in prison.
