DETROIT (WKZO) -- He may be the one positive in an otherwise dismal season. Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is the new NFL single-season receiving leader.

Johnson had 11 catches for 225 yards in Detroit's 31-18 loss to the Falcons on Saturday night, moving him ahead of the record set by Jerry Rice in 1995.

Johnson now has 1892 yards this year with a game still to play.
