CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) - A win today means a second straight NFC North Division title for the Green Bay Packers. The game at Soldier Field features a charging Packer team taking on a Chicago Bears team which controlled the division until the last five games. The Packers have won seven of their last eight, while Chicago tries to change the momentum of four losses in five games. Packers coach Mike McCarthy says his team faces a tough opponent, a tough place to play and there is a lot on the line. One more streak – the Pack has beaten the Bears in the last five meetings between the teams.
On the injury front, another injury has cropped up on the Green Bay Packers’ offensive line. Guard Josh Sitton has a hip injury which flared up at practice this week. He did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. Also, receiver Donald Driver is questionable with a lingering thumb injury, as is linebacker Terrell Manning with a shoulder injury. Receiver Jordy Nelson, defensive end C-J Wilson and defensive back Charles Woodson have been ruled out. Linebacker Clay Matthews is listed as probable, although there might be a limit on his number of plays. It will be the first game for Matthews since November fourth, when he injured a hamstring against Arizona. Also, Mike Neal is probable along with T-J Lang, Jerron McMillian, and Marshall Newhouse.
Coverage of the game on WHBL begins at 10am with kickoff set for Noon.
