ST. LOUIS, MO (WHBL) - Yadier Molina went 4-for-4, including the game-winning home run, as the St. Louis Cardinals beat Milwaukee Saturday 7-3. Molina’s homer to left in the sixth inning broke a 3-3 tie and put the defending World Champions on top for good. Marco Estrada took the loss for the Brewers. He gave up five runs in six innings. Aramis Ramirez and Alex Gonzalez reached St. Louis starter and winner Kyle Lohse for home runs. Though it was his worst outing of the young season, Lohse still ran his record to 4-0. He got home run support from third baseman David Freese, who hit the ball out of the park on his 29th birthday. It was the third straight win for the Cardinals and they are five games ahead of last year’s Central Division champion Brewers. The series wraps up today, with coverage on WHBL getting underway at 12:40.
