MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - For the second night in a row, the Milwaukee Brewers won a game on a close play at the plate.  Nyjer Morgan scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly, as the Brewers edged the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 in 10 innings at Miller Park. The Brewers loaded the bases in the 10th. The Dodgers employed a five-man infield as Ryan Braun hit a shallow fly to center. Matt Kemp made a long throw to catcher A-J Ellis, as Morgan ignored a stop sign from third base coach Ed Sedar and scampered toward the plate. The home plate umpire said Morgan was safe, and he was mobbed by his teammates. But replays showed that Ellis might have tagged Morgan out before he touched the plate. Dodgers’ manager Don Mattingly said Morgan was definitely out. Matt Guerrier took the loss.  Kameron Loe got the win in relief. He’s 1-0.  Aramis Ramirez belted his first homer for Milwaukee in his 46th plate appearance.  Mat Gamel singled home the Brewers’ other run.  Kemp had an R-B-I single for the Dodgers, and ex-Brewer Jerry Hairston Junior scored L-A’s other run after he doubled. Milwaukee will go for a sweep of its three-game set with the Dodgers this afternoon.  Left-hander Randy Wolf will start against right-hander Aaron Harang.

Pregame coverage on WHBL gets underway this morning at 11:35.
