SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - The Sheboygan man arrested early Tuesday morning for his 5th drunk driving offense has been formally charged in Sheboygan County Court. 54 year old Thomas Grunow is facing 1 count of felony drunk driving after allegedly driving drunk on N. 15th Street around 2 o'clock Tuesday morning, hitting a building, and leaving the scene. According to the criminal complaint, Grunow was found in his pickup truck in a driveway a few blocks away from the accident with the dome lights on. When officers made contact with Grunow, he had blood coming from a cut on the side of his face and on his hand. When Grunow stepped out of his pickup truck, he could barely stand, and had to lean up against his truck and the officer for balance. If convicted, Grunow is facing up to 6 years in prison.
