SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Falls man, dubbed the serial burglar, is now facing additional charges after being arrested last month while attempting to rob a home in the town of Sheboygan Falls.  62 year old Dennis Petrie appeared before Judge Angela Sutkiewicz Friday morning and received the additional charges in an amended criminal complaint.  Petrie was finally apprehended robbing homes when a homeowner caught him in the act in March trying to break into his house.  Detectives spent 4 days searching Petrie’s property, where they seized over 60 firearms, jewelry, coins, and other items that had been taken from the homes of deceased victims.  Petrie is being held in the county jail, and his preliminary hearing was re-scheduled for Tuesday.
