SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - An Elkhart Lake man will be spending six months in the Sheboygan County Jail for sexually assaulting a young boy. 46 year old Charles Amweg had been convicted by a jury following his trial in February. Judge James Bolgert sentenced Amweg on Wednesday to three years on probation, with the first six months to be spent in the county jail under the Huber Law. Amweg had been charged last July after the boy’s mother came forward and told authorities that she had been talking with her 4 and 8 year old boys about touching, when the older son told her that Amweg had touched him and his brother inappropriately and made them do the same to him.
