KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO)-- Pennfield scored early and scored often en route to a 55-20 victory over Hackett. This one was almost over before it began as Pennfield jumped out to an early 27-0 lead--and that was in the second quarter. The game was dominated in every facet by the Panthers. Offensively, Quarterback Nicolas Acton threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns.
The Panthers also scored on special teams with a muffed punt that was recovered for a touchdown, and defensively they had two interceptions. The Panthers are now 3-0 and face Vermontville Maple Valley High School, next week at 7 p.m.
