SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man, who was charged with battery for hitting two young boys because they lost his pet frog, will spend some time in the county jail.  26 year old Christopher Sipe was sentenced recently by Judge Timothy Van Akkeren.  Sipe was placed on probation for two years with the first 6 months to be spent in the county jail.  He was also ordered not to have contact with the 6 and 8 year old youngsters.  Sipe had pleaded no contest to the charges after they were reduced to misdemeanors.  The incident occurred last July.  Authorities said the boys both had red marks and bruises on their faces.
