MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WHBL) - A Milwaukee man is hospitalized in critical condition, after he fell from a sixth-story window ledge at his apartment building while trying to hide from the police. Spokeswoman Anne Schwartz said officers tried to stop man’s vehicle yesterday – but he sped off and ran to his apartment a few blocks away. The officers then went to the apartment, and were let in by another occupant. They found the 36-year-old suspect hiding on the ledge outside one of his windows. Schwartz said the officers tried to pull him inside but he struggled, slipped, and fell to the ground. Officials said the man was wanted for a parole violation, and drugs were later found in his vehicle.
