Jobs, the brains behind iTunes and the iPod, died earlier this month (Oct11) after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Shortly after his passing, Kutcher paid tribute to the computer icon by displaying Jobs' photo on his Twitter.com page, and now he is appealing for contributions to College Track, an organisation launched by Jobs' wife, Laurene Powell Jobs.
In a post on Twitter, Kutcher writes, ""Join me in honouring Steve Jobs by donating to College Track,"" before posting a link to the online campaign.
More than $80,000 (£50,000) has been raised for the program, which helps send underprivileged high school students to college.
