SHEBOYGAN, Wis.(WHBL)  - A Sheboygan man took his case to a jury in Sheboygan County Court this week and won.  33 year old James Pugh had been charged with substantial battery for an incident last July, when it was alleged that Pugh and two companions assaulted a Sheboygan man and then beat his 54 year old father when he attempted to intervene.  A jury listened to a day of testimony and then deliberated for nearly an hour and a half before returning with a not guilty verdict.  Pugh had been facing up to three and a half years in prison.
