SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - The suspect and victim in a weekend armed robbery in the city of Sheboygan are both in jail today - one in Sheboygan, the other in Washington County. Captain Jim Veeser of the Sheboygan Police Department said a 17 year old Sheboygan youth contacted police early Sunday morning to say he had been robbed in the 2300 block of South 16th Street by two males wielding handguns. They stole his backpack, containing narcotics. Veeser said officers later stopped a vehicle and arrested a 16 year old male in connection with the incident. Veeser said the 17 year old victim then allegedly stole a car from near the robbery scene and drove to Jackson, got into an accident, and was arrested. It was later determined the car had been stolen and the teen is now facing numerous charges including vehicle theft and drunk driving.
